Frantz@, behind a desecratory gesture there is a thought aimed at destroying or denying what is considered established... those artistic movements were still in the phase of dismantling, not of building. That's how I see it... then someone might always contradict me.

There is quite a bit of confusion; one should be able to distinguish the artistic product from an intellectual thought that uses the channels of art in a provocative manner. If Kubota is an artist, so much the better, but his act is a denial of art in all its forms.

I have navigated through the "fluxus" artistic circles and those considered to be at the most extreme avant-garde in Turin and Milan. There is a mad kind of opportunism from "artists" willing to do anything, even to be put to sleep with a massive dose of Valium in front of an audience just to gain visibility, success, and money. These are pseudo-intellectual, petty-bourgeois movements; it takes very little to be part of them.

Unfortunately, the label "Dark Horse" was used more to produce films than good music... except for a few episodes here and there. For a few more years, Harrison made no real effort to produce a decent album; we would have to wait for the LP "Cloud Nine" to hear him raise the tone a bit.
