I couldn't listen to it anymore, even for a reward.

For example, I'm listening to the album right now (you made me want to with your review) and I've reached the last song, "Do What You Like," which wonderfully indulges in musicality and undeniably progressive ways :)

Oh yes ;) this album in some songs also feels a bit progressive to me, what do you think? Progressive that Steve Winwood will later celebrate with John Barleycorn Must Die.

"The Stooges were one of the cornerstone bands of the Detroit scene in the late '60s, a scene that pushed to the extreme the intuitions of Chuck Berry, Rolling Stones, Velvet Underground, and Doors (hard riffs, decadent theatrics, lascivious singing, noisy guitars)" IN SHORT, WHAT DID THESE STOOGES INVENT?? Mmm... while they were creating this lethal mix, rock was expanding with hard and progressive.

Well SLIM the second album is totally different from the first... This one is progressive while the debut is a mix of beat and hard rock.
