Sure, a review that talks about tracks fits perfectly on the homepage.. I hope this sketch of uselessness is the prologue to a piece on Dos! and Très!, now summoned by popular demand..

Certainly, one must appreciate the creativity of those trying to find a hidden meaning in this film. Snyder took seven or eight years to complete the screenplay, and at this point, I wonder if, given the results, they didn’t perform a lobotomy on him. It’s a film that plays it safe, very safe: it gives a layer of ambiguous "depth" that is touching enough (see the intro and the ending) and then blasts at full volume long takes that aren’t very exciting, all things considered. Okay, crazy settings but everything has already been seen in video games or various films (Necrovision, Painkiller, Batman Begins, Lord Of The Rings). In the end, the film comes out in the black because it somehow entertained me. The moral? “Take up arms and fight,” which means how to pump up the troubled souls of frustrated teenagers who are neither cool nor will they ever be like the attractive protagonists. A bit underwhelming in the end...

Nothing to say, it's a very good album. At times it sounds perhaps a bit familiar, but it remains solid and pleasant. Always balancing between hard and melody, but well-balanced and well-played. Another little progressive treasure.

I haven't read the book but, unlike many critics, I have read the review. Really boring and heavy, but I must say one thing: don't let Laura Zambelli from Rogito meet De Lorenzo, it would create a lethal mix. Always assuming you’re not PDL itself...
