Bryan Singer Bohemian Rhapsody

But really, was Singer that bad? I have a pretty good opinion of him; not a genius but definitely not a disaster. I haven't seen it because I'm waiting for the original version, the Italian dubbing has really pissed me off. But is this the first part of the biography or is there nothing more to be done? Maybe there will be a second part titled "Dwarf Parties" that tells the dissolute life of the waswahili? Imagine how cool that would be...

A terrible review for an album like this.. Terrible for how it's written, terrible for the fact that you probably didn't even proofread it before posting, terrible because it really seems like you listened to the album by chance and in a hurry: you say NOTHING about the songs and there's not even a reference to what is one of the best pieces by Genesis ever and perhaps one of the best in progressive rock..

All this little page should end up in an anthology for cinephiles social 4.0 and retweeted all over the universe...

Thank goodness that the trendy fashion of fake trailers and shitty films inspired by them lasted as long as a fart.. This film actually has very little of interest; the violence is tedious, the story you've seen twenty thousand times, the mantra "so bad it's so good" has gotten old a while ago, and in the end, it's all pretty boring.. The only interesting variable is Hauer's presence: if I'm not mistaken, he dives into some delirious pseudo-monologues and if I'm not mistaking again, at one point he shoots shotguns with a toilet seat around his neck.. How can you not appreciate that?

You start from a very banal review that seems written by a fifteen-year-old (nothing scandalous or new, really; some were quoting Nietzsche while trying to pass off Club Dogo as real music..) and then clarify in the comments your didactic and pedagogical intent.. Admirable, but not very effective.. There is actually very little to say about X-Factor: it’s not-televised music (not music on television), commercial machinery, a factory of superficial opinions for the consumption of Twitter and Instagram (Are we talking about cold? About blacks killing whites? About "what a beautiful voice that one has?") a testing ground and fair for media attitudes yet to come, pseudo-culture of old school music.. I accidentally heard a rap version of "Stairway to Heaven".. I wanted to get angry, but then I realized they did it on purpose; splattering shit on silk to provoke any provokable reaction.. It’s their game, and it’s really boring and uninteresting.. X-Factor, musically, is almost nothing, packaged to seem like something more.. And that’s alright, because money flows in this way too, and there are quite a few families making ends meet every month working on this stuff, just like working behind the first little singer from social networks.. But searching for pedagogical and hidden meanings in such business operations is like trying to find some mystical sense in McDonald's Christmas menu..

One of the voices I find most unbearable... Worse than Mina or Brian Molko, something antithetical to everything I like about beautiful singing... From an "aesthetic" point of view, the faux-hipster attitude, like a pseudo-Bob Dylan democrat, is truly the cherry on top... Thank goodness our radio stations, after having had their fill of orgasms with those two shitty hits of hers a year or two ago, have started to ignore her again... For me, one of the most intolerable things about mainstream 4.0 made in the U.S...

Too long and not funny.
Reviewing anything "produced" by this guy with more words than "But please!" is already a fundamentally pointless effort. Like him. So it fits. So go ahead.
Still too long and not funny anyway.

On one hand, I am awed by the labyrinthine, sumptuous dedication... On the other hand, such a lengthy piece on debaser.it, which talks about Cristina d'Avena and this album, I swear it unsettles me... Once there was DLF who reviewed certain records...

I love this record (even if it's not a 5-star one), I adore her little voice and I love a small, simple song like "On My Balcony": cheerful & melancholic, warm & fresh, autumnal & summery at the same time... You have to be good to pull out pieces like this with such simplicity...
