Go back to pushing your stinky trap, it's better, you raggedy.

A dignified review, but all in all, it doesn’t say anything new or particularly interesting. Maybe it’s also because you’re describing an album that, in my opinion, has very little bite, one that made a big splash at the time but isn't really a masterpiece. "Heal The World" and "Will You Be There" will remain two of the most overhyped and sloppy singles of the era, while "Black And White" is one of the most irritating. I remember the title track as a big mess.

My empathy, solidarity, charity, state aid, international peace missions, Blue Helmets, UN resolutions, unemployment benefits, and welfare go to those poor unfortunate students of yours, who have to endure the lessons of a character who reads such material (legitimate, mind you, there are people who have paid money to Moccia or Murgia...) and writes similar stuff..
Now you have to send more, though!

I was a bit disappointed because I was expecting the plot twist, the revelation, the epic exit from the old crush in the sun, or some episode like the fake butt melting from the heat, the botulinum-infused lips collapsing like a slug from thirst, the reviewer wildly desiring, an impossible love born and cooked under the blazing sun.. Instead, the story ends like this, rushed like the ending of any random Lucio Fulci movie.. What a bitter disappointment.. 😭

I spent a good hour teetering on the fragile boundary between wakefulness and sleep the first time I saw it, at a university film forum. I was young and eager, and I didn't appreciate it much. Watching it years later, I've come to the conclusion that it's one of those deliberately ambiguous films, intentionally open to different interpretations, purposely complex, and just kind of thrown out there—one of those debut films where the young and ambitious director strives to achieve "cult" status.
However, it did launch Gyllenhaal, a really good actor, whom I quite like. Good for the effort, but you might have seen a bit too much in this sly comic book adaptation...

You've practically reviewed a copy/paste of a copy/paste of a copy/paste of a copy/paste of a photocopy of a copy/paste of an imitation of a copy/paste of a photocopy of a déjà vu of a copy/paste copied & pasted. I can never muster even the slightest bit of respect for operations like these, regurgitations of a detestable way to cram something sound-related everywhere and at any cost just to make a quick buck (so to speak, eh…). It's curious that, by merely changing the gender of the adjectives and swapping Biden for, I don’t know, the Pope, Paul McCartney, Obama, Bono Vox, Madonna, etc., the first two paragraphs could be copy/pasted onto the miserable parabola of any contemporary pop "star" (no offense to red dwarfs, blue supergiants, binary systems, neutron stars, etc...).

A hell of a disc. Not only does it grab you from start to finish, but it contains one of the deepest and most touching pieces I can remember; not just from the Chemical Brothers, I mean in general... Listening to "Swoon" live and falling in love (I'm serious) in those exact minutes, amidst those lights, those electronic razor cuts, between kisses and sweat, doesn't happen to everyone... It happened to me...

Since you've put in the effort, you're charming, you make people laugh out loud, and your writing is refreshing and pleasant like a popsicle in percolate, you deserve an extra star!
John Boorman Zardoz

I do remember it as a bit boring, enigmatic, ambitious but strangely intriguing.. Connery in red underwear, a red bandolier, and mistress-style boots is seriously too ridiculous, but credit should be given to Boorman for involving him in a not-so-simple, outlandish yet passionate project.. It’s a film worth watching, if only for its oddity..
