I utterly reiterate my own comment that I already made regarding this "work": J Ax is cunning; by mocking, he tries to deflect criticism from himself to avoid appearing as what he truly is: an outdated character, a former bad boy who has done his time, hastily shifted to ear-splitting commercial singles just to speculate a bit... He himself is an example of what he condemns. Hypocritical and false, snobbish like few, he is a filthy salesman of himself... The cover is of rare sadness... Nothing more to add, except that the review is, in my opinion, rather poorly written: it seems like you're doing elementary school exercises... However, it must be said that it's the first one, and there are certainly much worse ones out there...

As far as reality is concerned, Cleo is not just right to sell, but to give away.. Here there is at most realism, but the convenient kind, the more straightforward, good-natured, and dulled kind, which is not reality..

I’m already pissed off, I’m an atomic exterminator mushroom and son of a bitch, son of a bitch! Every time my fingers touch human brain I become Superfly TNT, I become the cannons of Navarone... Absolutely immortal.

I'm not old, but I have enough years.. And anyway, you're right, it was truly the emblem of the early eighties, filthy and decadent..

You could have skipped the opening quote.. Everything else is standard fare, considering the subject matter.. Anyway, the film's strengths, besides the acting, are precisely the dialogues: the discussion about the dishes made by Jules and Vincent as soon as they walk into the diner is something out of an anthology.. I won’t rate the film because a 5 would be reductive..

First point, I didn't mean to start a controversy.. Second point, I understand that it's our daily experience, and it's fine for some good filmmaker to come remind us of that, but having a cultural cinematic art that's so heavily based on "human cases" leaves me a bit perplexed.. I'm not saying we should resort to the shabby melodrama style of Hollywood, but at least in years gone by, Italian cinema was also something else.. And I don't think it's absolutely necessary to resort to the melodramas or little dramas of bourgeois daily life to "question our earthly transit"..

I wonder why 80 percent of Italian films these years deal with "..broken couples, betrayals, identity crises, and existential confusion; a little problem with toxicity or managing homosexual friendships..", 15 percent are comedy films that encourage laziness, and 5 percent are obscure productions, with very few being noteworthy.. At least, that's my impression.. But where is the imagination? Is there still any left?

Even those who pop out of nowhere with a new name to counter and cover their own ass are in a bad place, dear dummy.. But so so so.. But really so much..

Again?? You’ve really worn out your welcome, seriously..
