U2 Under A Blood Red Sky
Voto:
A terrible business card.. an engaging album described with carelessness. It’s not entirely true that U2 have never used other musicians in concert; apart from B.B. King on Rattle and Hum, the four have often hosted string sections on stage for syrupy rearrangements of songs like One or more recently the mediocre Original Of The Species.. nuances, however..

But where is the review?
Renaissance Prologue

What timing, I just got it six days ago.. Very well described; besides Annie's angelic singing, this album struck me for its sumptuous piano setting, really elegant and never redundant.. This is top-class prog, beautiful Kiev and the final delirium of Rajan Khan, excellent instrumental Prologue, while Sounds Of The Sea, in my opinion, only partially fulfills what the magnificent opening fuga promises.. An unmissable album nonetheless, even if the true masterpiece of the group is definitely Ashes Are Burning.. It risks being a criticism for its own sake, but I believe that in the arrangements a nice mellotron and especially a Hammond would have been divine.. Congratulations to everyone anyway..

The Pooh, the only group that releases posthumous records while still alive..

I listened to it too.. Great album; but how beautiful is "Ashes Are Burning"? Chills from the first note to the final march.. Awesome! P.S. Rizzi is rightly criticized; however, his guide can be more useful as a catalog of prog than as a critical analysis..
Carcass Reek Of Putrefaction

Interesting group only because they are crazy... their concept about liver diseases, the name of which I can't recall, is quite tasty... Surely there’s something nauseating on this page, and it's the linguistic competence of the reviewer...

So would they be a "breath of fresh air"? They have always smelled of something I've already heard.. I might have hearing problems, perhaps, but I've never heard the "big voice" of that bald queen..

The fact that this album, by your own admission, "really kills it at parties" reveals its intrinsic nature: a synthetic, money-sucking product conceived based on trendy stereotypes that the youth of our time consider "dope" and "cool." This character is yet another chimera and a universe of vacuum. The review is well-written, but I’ll give you a two for the phrase "he's also a great actor." NO!

Aside from a few flashes, I haven't found much on this album. In my opinion, it's very overrated; it's definitely quite clever as well. I'll give you two because I agree with your assessment of On The Run, a real (in my view) stinker.
Yes Going for the One

So this album should only be bought for the title track? Come on... Is it perhaps the worst of the quintet? "Tales" may not be their best album, maybe it's the heaviest, but still, what a gem... And "Awaken" would be bland? It's a summa of farewell to all of Yes's art (not to mention one of their all-time favorite pieces, but that’s beside the point). Your review shows how little you know Yes and how inattentively you listen to them... Just forget it.
