I find the presentation of this album excellent, even though I think it's a bit exaggerated to say that the violin serves as a bridge between Curved Air and Renaissance. The latter actually preferred orchestral "atmospheric" arrangements rather than nervous solos. I would say that Curved Air makes a kind of "progressive pop," with folk, acid tracks that are never too intricate yet possess enormous artistic quality; like many, I prefer the Second Album at the debut, which, by the way, contains that splendid ride of "Pieces Of Mind." A (relative) flaw in your review is the lack of mention of the true progressive genius of Curved Air, Francis Monkman, lover of the VCS3, who will also make an appearance, funny enough, in "Prologue" by Renaissance to play on "Rajan Khan," one of the most experimental pieces by Duford and company.

Oh no, the first one you mentioned. But is there a torrent somewhere? Emule isn't working for me...

The point is not that we are guilty of not listening; the point is that this revolutionary "project" is clearly crafted to fool idiots like you, who think certain characters make music just for the pleasure of doing so. It's not true at all; it's just a sordid and detestable commercial operation. Perhaps your reviews aren't poorly written, but they contain a myriad of bullshit and exaggerated judgments.

I will never watch it, also because honestly just reading the identities of the nice little group of alien victims makes me laugh. But how can anyone approve scripts like this, I ask?

They are also the ones of "Don't dream it's over," grotesquely covered by Venditti.. when I found out, I laughed until I cried..

Great analysis.. But I don't agree that the lack of a standout track is its strength. On the contrary, I think that's the problem; it feels too "been there, done that," too many parallels, and no progression compared to the true and massive masterpiece of the band, Ashes Are Burning. And above all, no composition is truly "destructive." That said, it doesn't take away from the fact that it is a wonderful work and that Renaissance is a group decidedly underrated in relation to their merits. Well done!

Great game. And the characters are super funny; I remember the Phoenix inviting you to the barbecue, the marines who were doping themselves, or the Protoss being snobbish... The Zerg communicated through burps, but they were my favorites...
