The book released with another publishing house is a collection of the interventions from "Vieni Via con Me," a show produced, I repeat, with money from Mediaset.
@Nes: What Saviano has done is culturally enormous. But he has shown a lot of cheek by happily spitting in the plate he eats from; his attitude disappoints me a lot, but I can't say I didn't expect it. In any case, someone who harshly criticizes the family that pays him royalties is not at all someone I consider bold, on the contrary...

NEVER put intellectuals (or those presumed to be) on a pedestal. It is a common vice not only among the ignorant masses but also within the political intelligentsia that, depending on the need, elevates and recruits this or that writer and/or cultured individual. The consequence of "cultural pedestalism" can be seen in outbursts like "What are you doing, trashing that guy?? You're just jealous!" and other similar delusions; in reality, every public figure, to varying degrees, has his virtues and his vices, and as a public figure is inevitably subject to criticism. This should be shared, in my opinion. I don’t know if the volume goes in this direction, but I don't think so... It is legitimate to have concerns about figures trying to assume an authoritative role, and it is pointless to be scandalized if someone speaks badly of them, provided it is a grounded criticism. For example, I would like to ask Geenoo (just to spark a bit of polite controversy) what he thinks about the fact that the good Saviano, an admirable and evidently intelligent figure, gets his books published by the Berlusconi family, has his "save Italy" show produced by Endemol (a branch of the hidden and nefarious opinion leader Mediaset), and then goes to rallies to accuse the same figures of censorship, dictatorship, and so on...

"Cursed be me for wasting time listening to this garbage!" There you go, that was all it took as a review.
Antonio Ingroia C'era una volta l'intercettazione. La giustizia e le bufale della politica.

The anti-mafia movement has had its heroes, its martyrs, who have been important not only for their work but also because they changed things. But the judiciary also has its rotten apples: I hate to say it, but when it comes to the political use of justice, unfortunately, and I repeat, unfortunately, Berlusconi is partly right; I’m not talking about his trials, but about certain judicial acts that have destroyed careers and demonized figures to create political upheavals, only to fade into silence. Acts that have also affected left-wing figures, such as Mastella and Del Turco. This disturbs and frightens me, even if I repeat, I am not a Berlusconian, and I do not believe in the exaggerated nonsense of Cav, I am only reasoning based on facts. In any case, for me, Ingroia is not a hero. First, because a magistrate cannot take the stage at rallies and address the crowd, as he is not a member of a party: being part of an institution that answers to the people, he must submit his legitimate and rightful protest to the appropriate venues, which are not the stages of Italy of Values. Secondly, what happened with the son of Ciancimino, who was coddled and praised by journalists and hosts, but especially by Ingroia himself, who called him an "icon of anti-mafia," is disturbing, it undermines justice, insults the victims of the mafia, and those who truly fight against it. What courage it takes to lecture on morality and invoke the rule of law when an imposing castle of accusations is built on falsehoods and manipulated evidence. The pitiful thing is that, as usual, no one talks about it… Shameful…

If Lady GaGa's goal is to produce those catchy little songs that get stuck in your head and lodge themselves in your occipital lobe for 24 hours, looping you between one serious thought and another, I must admit that, unfortunately, it has worked on me: yesterday I accidentally heard "Alejandro," and I still can't shake it off. As soon as possible, I will try to combat the infection with a dose of decent music. Ha regione geenoo: there is no sense in this artwork, and yes, it sucks. It's neither provocative nor original; it's just trash, the most vulgar and ridiculous kind, all the more irritating because it's designed solely to shock and "look cool." At this point, as the distinguished DLF teaches me, the artwork of Zequila's album is more "artistic" and authentic.

Have patience, Squall, but to reinvent "her" style, Madonna in Ray Of Light (I would be very cautious with the term "masterpiece") clung to the ass of William Orbit... And where is the artist's creative intuition, excuse me, if she relies on the work of others? Thanks, anyone can do that. And where has Madonna gone? She acts like a whore in her latest album, at fifty she pitifully chases the sixth-hand trash that brought her success in the '80s and now she's been overshadowed by this other freak show, who follows exactly the same path but with much more doping. The skills, well... I reiterate that a few piano chords and a couple of well-tweaked vocal exercises do not make a serious artist. Why doesn't she make a whole album like that? Why does she keep reheating the soup she's been dishing out for two years now?

A beautiful album... Reflective, ethereal, muscular, and transcendent. It’s truly a journey and a vision. The Tangerine Dream are outstanding, offering us this gem in a decade like the '80s... I also want to mention the 2008 reissue, a bit colder, a bit too digital but still fascinating, and with a really sparkling "Cinnamon Road"! Well done, and great review, although from your words I would have expected a 5-star rating for the album...

SQUALL_LEONHEAR, my calling you "professorino" stems from your air of (presumed) superiority, as if you place yourself above all the average debaserists; let’s not confuse what you think, which is perfectly valid and legitimate, with the way you express it. To me, the discussion of the alleged "cultured turn" seems totally absurd, an idea so ridiculous that it borders on offensive to intelligence. Do you really think it's possible that a pop star who has built worldwide success on trashy and banal content (the melodies of her songs are certainly not compositional wonders) suddenly starts making meaningful music, perhaps even non-mainstream? It seems to me that you're wasting a bunch of compliments around pure emptiness: talking about genius, about art, etc. To me, the only novelty of Lady Gaga is taking all the most useless trappings of pop and elevating them to the nth degree, anabolicizing them to the point of literally invading the airwaves, cluttering and sneaking in practically everywhere, always with the sole purpose of getting people to talk about her. That’s her talent, hers but above all, her management’s. Does this seem a preparatory attitude for moving on to more substantial music? You must be crazy... Sure, she hit the mark with a few catchy tunes (which, by the way, are already forgotten), but to speak of genius and revolution from that is quite a leap...

I usually admire your skills, Darius, but this review is really ridiculous, redundant, inflated, and artificial. Why do you throw yourself away like this? I wonder how one can say that Lady Caga is an artist... Where would she be, her records, her hit singles, her mega ultra super cool concert events, where would all her success be without the immense media-industrial apparatus supporting her? The fact is that she is not the core of her craft, but the finished product, and for some, a perfect one, of a well-calibrated and enormously funded equation. Musically and creatively, there are the 4-5 drinkable melodies of the little singles, which are already heard and, in any case, banal. To the little professor SQUALL_LEONHEAR: if she is so good at writing, arranging, playing, and singing all by herself, what’s the need for that synthetic frame? If reinventing means serving up the same stuff covered in excess, gaudiness, and useless nonsense, then there’s nothing genius about it; a few decent piano riffs and two or three well-tuned vocalizations don’t make an artist, nor do they make a pop artist.
