A "confession" more than a review, which I liked; it’s pragmatic, heartfelt, and naif (in a good way).
Jovanotti, for me, has been awarded far beyond any possible merit; all in all, he has done what many have done and will do: sought, and found, success.. This applies to him as it does to Moccia or Vannacci; and that's perfectly fine.
Then one can also (must) think that these people suck, as they indeed do, and that’s perfectly fine too..

@[ElfoBlacoglione] in my opinion, you are comparing somewhat different things..
Dresden and Hiroshima are tragedies of history, the first more "conventional," the second more subtle and disturbing.. But they are stories of death, horror, destruction that leave a mark.. And it is true that perhaps they haven't been told as they "deserve."

However, reflect that these were difficult choices made based on a cold and pragmatic strategic and military realism.. They were experiments, extreme attempts to turn around a war (and what a war) that had lasted too many years (and what years) against enemies who had literally proven capable of anything..
(A Chinese person would say they want to see a movie about the Nanjing massacre nominated for the Oscars, just to say...)

Neither Dresden, the result of a ruthless (and wrong) tactical strategic calculation by Bomber Harris, nor Hiroshima, the tragic epilogue of one of the most decisive scientific trajectories in history, reach the unfathomable depths of the Holocaust..
Without taking anything away from the horror they generated.. But history is not a film, nor a novel.. In history, it is not the narrative technique, cinematic elements, or details that matter; it is the context..

Good job, great direct analysis, no frills, pragmatic and effective.
I haven't seen the film, but an assessment like yours and such an impressive poster (I hadn't noticed it before..) invite more than early awards and Oscar buzz.
I’d like to make a mini-observation on how, in recent weeks, the term "holocaust" has been used, as Abbot Suger said, "ALLA CAZZO DI CANE," but I'm full of shots, so I'm happy, so I’ll abstain.

So "NEGRI" can be said?
And in bold too?

I apologize, but I would rather read Mein Kampf than this... thing...

A rather bizarre review that makes you want to do everything except read (if you can call it that) this... thing, but above all has been unjustly & shamelessly stolen from @[Trofeo] ...

This guy has also written a "Cthuhlu nei carruggi".. I would suggest "Cthuhlu & the Camorra" and "Tangentchtulhu" as the next titles...

I remember having it in my hands but with a different cover.. And I'm not talking about an album with the same title recorded by a guy from Panama...

Jason Statham is still the funniest.. I watched the first two and the second one had me entertained enough..
These operations between nostalgia and necrophilia bring a bit of sadness..
