"What rating would you give to a wonderfully written review that criticizes all metal, claiming it's satanic music, devoid of quality, and filled with other clichés, while inviting people to listen to a real band like, I don’t know, Lunapop?"
I don't think I've even remotely acted in the way you suggested; rather, I have stated from the beginning that this album can appeal to people who are used to only commercial music, or whatever you want to call it (the stuff that plays on the radio or on MTV, to be clear). If you don’t connect with my gothic sentiments regarding this album, feel free to consider it pop. I find discussions about what is gothic or not childish, and they now take the space they find. The Evanescence are certainly not my favorite band; they might be the most commercial group I listen to (every once in a while)... but I’ve seen much bigger trash out there... perhaps Amy’s vocal prowess doesn’t mean anything to you... personally, the myriad of stereotypical black metal bands, the exaggerated yet sterile technicalities of Portnoy, Petrucci and their ilk, the all-similar American metalcore bands, the faded copies of death metal heavyweights, the die-hard power metallers where the ridiculous Manowar are the progenitors... guys, look around: there’s really a lot of trash... don’t attack a band just because they’re successful... perhaps the failure of many others at this point is deserved. And the Iron Maiden, poor things, venerated like gods and now bent under the heavy burden of the past they carry on their shoulders...
And I conclude by saying that apart from the syntax, which I don’t care about in the least but believe I master, with this review I don't think I ever lost sight of the goal I set for myself when I write a review: to express personal opinions while always keeping objectivity alive.

I don't care about Evanescence, but seeing people comment like this makes me smile... good for you... anyway, the review is written in correct Italian and shows that the reviewer can express their opinions very well. If you want to bring the band down, no problem, but giving bad ratings to reviews written even better than you could do is just childish.

no...they are part of the first EP if I'm not mistaken. I also have "through the eyes of regret" but I haven't listened to it yet.

I have been dedicating myself to writing reviews for about a year now, although until today I have never published them. The "strength" (as you call it) I find comes from the reason you can read in the last paragraph above.

sufficient...barely. but only if analyzed within the limits of what the genre proposed in 2006. if we instead look at the band's past (seminal)...sigh...better to stay silent.

Thank you for the compliments... the Italian underground scene needs support, it's a shame that many are only convinced that Italian bands deserve to be pelted with tomatoes.

Well... Americans really follow the trends of the moment... and then find me bands like Opeth, My Dying Bride, Haggard in America. The fact that I included only metal among the genres might seem limiting, but I didn't want to add gothic because with this album, I believe that the gothic metal of Comalies and the previous albums has been surpassed. I thank everyone else for the compliments.

Strange... it seems to me that I sent the one for domina noctis... I'll resend it now, but if I'm not mistaken, I have three more waiting for publication.
