the review is a bit wordy... I only know "first embrace" from them, which I find engaging 100%. it's not purely gothic because as a genre it relies more on other standards than on power, which is expertly handled here by De Luca and the guitar work. I hope to hear the album as soon as possible!

I basically agree on everything, but I really like eversleeping (small analogy: I also love the piano). I just sent the review of india, which I consider even worse than this. Meanwhile, kill the sun was really good and less stereotypical (*** as far as I'm concerned).

Nice review, but let's not compare this self-congratulatory, baroque, and redundant Teutonic stuff with the poetic romanticism of My Dying Bride...

It's not to show off, but mine is much more detailed.

the pervasive suffering pathos present in "forget me not" (one of the most emotional albums I've ever listened to) fades a bit, but some songs here are even better (not all of them, though)... this still remains an excellent album, the third in a series of masterpieces. congratulations to the reviewer who managed to capture its beauty and infinite sincerity.

first masterpiece of one of the greatest Italian realities....as for the review, I disagree with the statement that this album contains ethereal elements...the meaning of the word has probably been misconstrued, significantly abused when it comes to Gothic music. for the rest, I completely agree with what has been written.

ah, the rating for the review! I don’t know the album. I've only listened to what you consider their ABSOLUTE MASTERPIECE (and not masterplace!); I have to say it didn't grab me much... I will try to listen to it again for a more appropriate judgment, maybe right on the pages of your review. re-hi

Incredibly ignorant the comment by funeralforafriend... so sly, I notice pleasant improvements in your writing, but despite the detailed nature of the aforementioned review, I cannot refrain from expressing a rather negative judgment. A constant in your writings is the tendency to use the same words too often (especially the term "piece," repeated countless times above)... a flaw that I don't consider negligible as it undermines the fluidity of the reading. That said, I am convinced that a gentler approach to the syntax and grammar of our language could lead you to write remarkable reviews. Because grammar is not everything, and not everyone has the ability to feel this type of music. Despite your young age (a few years younger than me, as far as I understand...), I have grasped this ability. So congratulations, and until next time (hoping not to be seen as the professor of the situation!)

no one is going to lynch you, norvheim… Sharon's voice was much more monotone in the past (in "mother earth," though still less so than in "enter"). some passages were redundant and poorly executed, it's true, but no one has given us those atmospheres in that album anymore…
