Well done, you know how to describe very well the atmospheres conveyed by the records without overshadowing the stylistic-musical component...

What a pleasure to read this review! It means that I'm not the only one appreciating them in Italy (by the way, I remember your comment on my review of "A Good Day to Die" and I'm glad to see you talking about their debut, which is definitely better than the following one, even if I find both extraordinary)... it's well written and especially highlights the technical and musical characteristics of the album, although personally, I would have preferred to focus more on the atmospheres and emotions infused in the various tracks. @PSYCHOPOMPE: the comment above doesn't even touch me, this is one of the most beautiful albums in Italian metal in recent years. Not a masterpiece, but we got really close... the musical tendencies of those who composed it are irrelevant in assessing the quality of an album... indeed, the more styles a musician can listen to, the better the result of the album will be in my opinion. @ADRIANO BERNARD: one of the best tracks is definitely "Black Roses" because it incorporates all the elements of The Dogma's sound. It may not have the best solo on the album, but Terrana's work is certainly impressive, the perfect symbiosis that is established between Santori and the mixed choir, duly supported by strings and guitars...

Thank you for the compliment, even if as a review it's nothing special... however, this group has something more than the usual clones... otherwise I wouldn't have given it a passing grade.

I rightly went to listen to the title track, and I must say that – although simple – it’s beautiful; it literally enchanted me... they were, by the way, one of my big absences that I’ve longed to fill. A new band to discover gradually and adore over time... thank you fjell :)

The review is somewhat superficial and hasty; I don't like it. For my part, I don't know this artist, but I find the concept behind the album rather clichéd and gaudy, just like the (horrendous) cover that certainly doesn't entice you to listen. To tackle certain themes, it requires, in my opinion, a bit more sensitivity and knowledge of the myths; otherwise, one risks falling into the ridiculous. Perhaps this isn't the case with this artist, but rediscovering "Lost AtlantIS" by Ataraxia is definitely better...

Well, the cover is AMAZING and your description hints at great things ahead :)

As usual, the review is perfect. I have listened to some tracks by Turisas, which I appreciated for their extreme versatility, as well as an intrinsic skill in the symphonic arrangements, blending epic and folk. They seem talented, even though it's evident that these themes no longer represent a novelty...

I preferred the review of "illusion's play"; this one, although well written, fits the album's content much less. I also believe there are bands that convey these feelings better, perhaps also because a certain musical indigestibility (like that of the shape of despair) is not always synonymous with maximum expressiveness... in any case, they are among the leading names in the industry and it's right to acknowledge their merits :) But let's not forget that alongside them, there are glories like funeral (forgotten by everyone, unjustly), officium triste, swallow the sun...

perfectly suited review and inimitable style...
