a nice and readable review, but perhaps your writing tends to focus a bit too much on the technical-musical aspects of the albums. a use of a more varied and perhaps atypical vocabulary, passionate, epic, or just a bit more fervent would enhance the quality of the descriptions... as for the album, I find it beautiful but I still think of "epica" as the best of their entire career, balanced in all parts, captivating in the concept and never boring despite its lengthy duration.

the numbers don’t add up with the assigned votes, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that the review is well-written... I listened to the album and I find it emotional as per tradition, even though Dark Tranquillity have stopped reinventing the genre... PS: I have never heard the bonus tracks...
