thank you all.. @reverse: good to see you again! I don't know much about ACR, but I've actually wanted to dig deeper for a while. @djmushroom: come on, we ran into each other at the killing, great concert night!

Beautiful review for a project that is as enigmatic as it is fascinating. The peak, in my opinion, so far is Kulma.

Years ago, forced by friends at the last minute, I also experienced my first and so far only live show by Diaframma in solitude; and I still remember it as one of the most exciting, sincere, fucking revitalizing moments of my entire musical life. Forget about a bad night! Great Federico.

I’m discovering them at the moment, and I’ve really started from here. I can say that if you love New Wave, sooner or later you have to come across Magazine, and above all, you can't help but appreciate Devoto's lyrical sharpness. Should I go with the second one or go straight to "Te Correct Use of Soap"??

rece ok, 4 stars at least, but... great album, more mature than the previous Tubeway, Numan iconic new wave by definition!
The Cure 4:13 dream

listen after listen I'm reevaluating it, also because it's pointless to make comparisons with masterpieces from 20 or more years ago, the Cure are what they are now, and their essence is still always present. P.S. it seems to me to be an album full of references, the hooky bass, the Cocteau Twins in "sirensong," not to mention certain bansheeian titles...let those who want to understand, understand!

I'm still processing it; for now, I can say it has good compactness and some exciting moments, but, as was already the case with "The Cure," it lacks a story, a reason for being, as was the case for most of their albums. It feels like just a collection of good songs. "Underneath the stars," in my opinion, is a huge missed opportunity; with a smoother arrangement, it would have rightfully entered the top 20 of their classics. At this point, I'm waiting for the follow-up.

Really interesting for an album that certainly doesn’t show its 15 years.

Oh yes, I who passed them off as Scots right here on this site ;) gaffe aside, their genre is unique and almost unlabelable. Let's say they are the ideal soundtrack for immersing oneself in nature, in poetry, and in all the simple things dear to a gentleman of the last century.

I share everything you wrote; the elegance of the AATT transcends musical boundaries and occupies a timeless space. And I'll tell you more, I was there in Vicenza too!
