Who cares, it's a nice review, that's enough :-) Interesting remark.

Explain to me what the phrase "Am I or am I not against the system?" is for. It's obvious that it's a fake rebellion, and it's clear that it doesn't add anything to punk. But let's pause for a moment and consider the music of these guys for what it is: simple entertainment and not (it shouldn't be) committed. From this perspective, it's enjoyable and can be appreciated. And come on: better these guys than Good Charlotte. The fact that a large part of their fans doesn't understand what it's all about doesn't solve the issue by bombarding with 1 an album that is objectively worth more.

Well, for me Symbolic is a great album, but it can't be compared to the trio of masterpieces Human-Individual Thought Pattern-The Sound of Perseverance. I see it a bit like an interlude in that part of the band's progressive/death metal production. My opinion, however, is entirely personal.

Nice review (intriguing cover) but let's not talk about headbanging, my neck is still sore from a Clairvoyants concert. Tell me: is it normal that after more than 48 hours I still have that annoying ringing in my ears..?

Amazing. This album, Human and Individual Thought Pattern, are among the greatest masterpieces of Death. Few albums have left me as astonished as this one (maybe Heartwork...). A very heartfelt review.

this was indeed a nice metaphor :-)

Avoid voting on songs; it's really annoying. An album is judged as a whole, and it can sometimes be a masterpiece even with ridiculous tracks.

Thank you, Vincent. The thing is, I find his screaming to be the best, so I would have liked to hear it outside of Darkthrone as well.

I would also include the early stuff from Satyricon (Dark Medieval Times, The Shadowthrone), they have a lot of "medieval" sounds, and they can be very useful for getting closer to the more "raw" things. Anyway, I speak as a total beginner. Great review, but I have a curiosity: does Nocturno Culto have any side projects, or is it just Fenriz managing one?

Well done Emanuele, you really wrote this with passion. @Vincent: so it's true that they're delving into the theme of redemption... And maybe the next ones are Celtic Frost. Bah...
