I only have "The Loss..." from Anthems, but that song is truly monumental. It moves you like few others, and it certainly wouldn't have been out of place on the dark side of the eclipse. HTH

Melechesh Emissaries
Voto:
Thank you for the votes! @Vincent: Melechesh has a habit of reinterpreting what could have been traditional Mesopotamian music in an extreme key...they mainly use "typical" metal instruments to do this, reducing the traditional ones to brief "cameos." Nonetheless, the Eastern matrix of the compositions is still clearly perceivable...try to imagine Nile playing Black and using Screaming, and you'll get the idea! As for the unusual origin of the band, I can tell you that I also live off Scandinavian productions, but Melechesh pleasantly surprised me; they are a breath of fresh air in the scene...highly recommended!!!

very evocative song, excellent... I don't know the artists in question, but even the great Abbath highly recommended them in a recent interview... I'll try to download something. But is this their best album or have they made better ones??
