The story of the super Norwegian (hail Satyr and Frost) is amusing :D but I didn't swallow this part "We are therefore light years away from the pompousness of Arcturus, from the irony of Solefald, resulting in being much more straightforward, no trace of tacky Casio keyboards therefore, even though they are terribly slow and let's say it calmly soporific. They could certainly be likened to the more ambient production of Ulver but even that not really, just to give you an example." The album is sublime.

Great... I downloaded it inspired by your description and it certainly did not disappoint my expectations. To say that from the review on wwwhatemoornet it sounded like a colossal flop... however, I possess a mysterious "2003 version" that contains 9 tracks!!! Needless to say, they are all on par with the original compositions... a delight..

Perhaps I explained myself poorly. In the end, I just wanted to say that my favorite bands, although they are metal, are all made up of artists with something to say, capable of expressing feelings, states of mind, even natural environments through their music. I predominantly listen to Black Metal (let’s not start with the usual discussions, please), but that particular type of Black that manages to be melodic, evocative, and imposing without becoming gaudy or commercial (early Satyricon, Taake, Ulver, and very few others)... then many folk-metal bands like Finntroll, as well as Kampfar or Lumsk... in short, when I listen to music, I’m not looking for a sonic massacre in the style of Cannibal Corpse, but rather bands with a very personal and completely unexpected sound... however, it’s true that I don’t limit my musical experience to the metal genre, although this is currently my main interest and my outlet... forgive me if I’ve been long-winded.

Do you know the bands I mentioned above?? Do you know Xasthur?? Apparently not, because otherwise you would know that there are still musical creatures in the metal scene that are constantly evolving... and there are many more than the few I mentioned... that said, it's undeniable that the world is full of other bands that limit themselves to copy-pasting, but I don't understand why you’re taking it out on metalheads... are you reviewing a rock record? Good, stick to your specific expertise without unjustly dragging another musical category through the mud... @N.I.B.II.O I hope for your sake that rock offers you all the emotions that metal offers me... peace and no insults, thanks...

I don't love the genre, but I have this CD and I must say I more or less agree with your analysis, except for the praise of tracks like Molotov and Frontlines, which I didn't find exceptional. In my opinion, Bleak and Fuel The Hate are nice (even if they're far from masterpieces).......

Nice review, the CD is the only one from Nile that I don't have even a single song from.
