Ale, I have never listened to the dinosaurs, should I impose some particular penance on myself? :-)? @Lux: may I make a clarification? In my opinion (as a layman of the genre), indie is what comes from groups linked to smaller labels that, by their nature, allow artists to produce what they want (setting aside nonsense like “I have to sell to 15-year-olds, so let me make a softer album”). Following this reasoning, within this "indie" there can be multiple genres or styles that differ from one another, and that’s why I find it misleading to compare the works of one band to another just because they are both indie (not to mention that the After aren’t really indie; they mostly create that impression to sell more).

I didn't like the review. I saw the movie years ago (right when it came out in theaters, "dragged" by a friend) and I remember walking in expecting to have a solemn nap but walked out surprised to have actually seen a really great film. And to be honest, I related much more to the doctor's "failed" friends than to his son (even though I'm relatively young).
