I read the review last week, but I wanted to take some time to listen to something on YouTube before commenting. The musical proposal is definitely valid, and it's also a genre I've been appreciating lately. I Built to Spill and Modest Mouse are heavily present, you heard right in my opinion, but maybe that's precisely the problem: they have a nice aftertaste of déjà vu.
Now, I don't want to start being the kind of person who goes, "if it’s not innovative, I won't give it a second glance," but I find them a bit perplexing.
Let’s say that on the other hand, the fact that I consider her a stunning beauty might mitigate my musical perplexity...
