Great review, damn!
The album is worthy of the MV; I also had some doubts before hearing it, but then I changed my mind and even went to see them live. Still, it's a step below Lungo i bordi and Da Qui...

Buddy, your review is phenomenal!!! I don't have the album, I only heard "You are free," but his voice gives me chills, so I think I'll definitely get this one too...

Here’s the problem with making "cultured" quotes: you focus on the silly quotation and forget about the important part: the music!

Great review, and I really liked the text analysis.
For me, the album isn't a 5; it's very close, but I don't feel comfortable giving it a 5.
I saw them last Saturday in Cesena, very engaging live (although a bit confused sound-wise, but half the blame was on the venue).
PS: Wait! It wasn't a hot moment; they didn't do it...

I've never been a fan of track by track, but you write really well, I like it!
I'm listening to the album intensely; it's hard to give an objective judgment when expectations are high (I'm speaking for myself, of course), but for now it really seems like a nice album.

Yes! Listening to it now is even more beautiful. But even more beautiful is the live version you mentioned that mixes this jazz "detour" with the classics of the Police.
P.S.: Who is Secchioni? 😉

I really liked the first one; I will buy this one soon. Really nice review and, above all, honest (or at least it seems that way).
But I didn't understand, you speak very highly of it and then give it only 3. What does it lack to be a 4 or a 5?

Well! Once this site was a nice place, now I have to come with iron underwear...

"They sing, but what could there possibly be to sing about? It must be that the lousy songs are so easy to learn!"

I miss this, but I've heard some traces in live albums. Perhaps (as you rightly emphasize) a little too cloying; I prefer the tracks from the later period, which are much more bluesy.
PS: Next time, maybe avoid the track by track; you have plenty of arguments for describing the album, and you can definitely do without it ;-)
