You deserve a 5 just for pulling out this piece of Irish history!!!
A (small) clarification: many vocal parts are by Shiels, and I personally don't mind Moore's voice when he was younger.
I went to great lengths to find the original, but it was worth it!

This is the most beautiful review of debaser, a 5 is not enough!

As always, the best ones leave us.
I don’t know this album, but I will remember it forever for all the chills it gave me with its two masterpieces: Afterhours and Still Got The Blues!

Good review, it flows very well!
The album doesn't attract me at all; Coldplay and HIM are about as mainstream as it gets for me, so I really don't think I'll be checking out their Finnish-indie version...

Superboia White is a great guitarist, he has taste and seems to really believe in what he does. Of course, he’s not the god of guitar technique, but I don't care about that at all... What I was saying is that from being a good rock-blues guitarist to being a master of rock blues, there’s quite a gap! And honestly, I believe Auerbach is definitely better.

I haven't listened to it yet but I will. I really liked Attack and Release even though it was different from the earlier ones (I'm not harsh on those who change their sound), if you say this is better, you pique my curiosity. The review is good but as Abulafia says, the metaphors are a bit too "risky."
PS: Jack White may be a good musician, but from that to being a master of rock blues is a big leap...

You are too kind, but nowadays free time isn't quite what it used to be :-)
Anyway, thank you very much!!!

Unfortunately, time is running short, and I gladly move on to reading something on debaser but pretty much always "in silence"...

Incredible!!! A comment on one of my reviews! I didn't even remember writing it....

Scary album!!!
They have acquired a more "human" rhythm compared to their other works, which I find more digestible.
My favorite remains Non Io, but this one is quite close in terms of quality!
