Auscultate: a bit monotonous (not monotòni), I should try to listen to them while cooking... The review remains a cool thing!!!

Wow, what a review of that series!!! Underrated seems like an understatement; maybe even their parents don't know about them, but they definitely seem "worth listening to"!!! I'll try the numerous links...

No, but if Pete Sandokan isn't there playing the drums of John's apocalypse, I won't even listen to it...
Radiohead The King Of Limbs: Live from The Basement

Radiohead amaze you with anything they release, for better or worse, but they astonish you because you never know what to expect. Then, whether the outcome is enjoyable or not, that’s why I respect them. Oh, and I like TKOL...

I found the album in 2003 in a store in Barcelona, I listened to it in bits and was very close to buying it, but then I thought, "why the hell would I want to buy a Spanish folk-metal record???". Maybe I was wrong, maybe it was really cool like it seemed in the headphones at that Catalan shop. Or maybe not.
dEUS Keep You Close

Well, you see, in the end I bought it, with embarrassingly late timing but I did buy it. And I listened to it, just a couple of times but I listened to it, and I can’t possibly give it less than a 4. Your 3 is definitely more objective and all the analysis on the somewhat useless choruses and the qualities that emerge in the slower pieces, but sometimes nostalgia plays nasty tricks and so...
Lou Reed and Metallica Lulu
Voto:
The review, aside from the provocative premise, is well done and I must admit that it makes one want to listen to the album. Unfortunately, it took just the first 30 seconds of the first track for me to realize that "Berlin and the Velvet Underground, perfectly fused with the sounds of Metallica" is the most false claim one could make about the album.
Lou Reed's voice is not at all blended with Metallica's music; in fact, it seems almost randomly placed over the typical musical bases of Metallica from the 2000s.
The project was ambitious; it could certainly have been useful to break out of a musical standstill (changing the air often does good), but in my opinion, the fusion of the two styles did not succeed...
