'rca dirty, if it only gets a 3, its composer must not be exactly the track of the year... Anyway, as a non-fan of the gardeners and someone who knows only 2 of their albums, I could listen to it without prejudice; maybe I'll like it. Or maybe not.

Great review, pleasantly smooth! The problem with listening to an album (noting that I haven't heard this one) is always the expectations, which often lead to disappointment. The cover says "Steve Harris," so why expect Maiden? If you buy a box that says "cookies," do you expect croissants? ;-)

But holy shit, was I the only one who enjoyed this concert??? I was in Bologna and I definitely had a blast! As for Paranoid Android, they alternate it with Karma Police (either one or the other) and I got to hear Paranoid, take that! :-) Overall, I really loved the latest live album, unlike the studio album which I think is just okay. Older songs were all in all well blended with the rest: Planet Telex maybe didn't fit in much (but I liked it) but on the other hand, Exit Music was done masterfully!!! Then I agree, for someone who doesn't like the last 3 albums, this tour must seem like a real drag... Luckily for me, it's not like that. Then in Bologna, before closing with Everything in its Right Place, Yorke did True Love Waits just with voice and piano, a spine-chilling version that was worth the concert on its own, but of course, the late fans who downloaded In Rainbows and TKOL on their iPods have no idea what I'm talking about... The only thing I didn't like was the audience: dead, silent, not participating, as if they were expecting a Radiohead concert from '98 without realizing that we’re in 2012. As for the review, even though it's long enough to put you off, you get a 5 just for having fallen in love again with your woman in front of the porta-potties: legendary!!! ;-)

I don't like the Maiden and I don't think I'll enjoy Harris's solo work either. However, I read the review very gladly, well done captain! PS: You just can't write without at least one quote from the After, can you… :-)
