I don't really care about what the unionists said at the concert; I stopped listening to them a while ago. Anyway, I agree that perhaps not even 20% of the 700,000 who were in Rome yesterday knew why it was a holiday. What a sadness...

B.B. King is 81 and still plays like he did when he was 20. Chuck Berry is 81 and can't even tune his guitar on his own. No doubt, he revolutionized the history of rock, but if he can no longer play, itā€™s fair to let him stay at home. I'm not criticizing him (he was right to take the good money they must have given him) but the organizers who believe that the concert (if we want to call it that) on May 1st is the right place for him. I can understand the excitement of some for the myth that he carries with him, but come on guys, letā€™s be honest: his performance was truly pitiful!
