Mariaelena, let me say, the review is nice. But there’s a but. What do these two guys sound like? Just to be clear, I really appreciate the mini treatise on spirituality (even though Dharma and Nirvana aren’t exactly my field), but besides voice, strings, and bells, what else is on this record? A couple of clarifying posts would be really appreciated; in the meantime, five.

I agree on the end of the Waters era. The problem with the album is that it is NOT a Pink Floyd record, but Gilmour's first solo album. And to someone who didn't like Gilmour even when he was with Waters in Pink, they'll like him even less as a solo artist. I'm not crazy about Gilmour, but I do like him, and I like the world because there’s always someone who thinks differently from me.
