Wipers Youth of America

I don't think they're for me, but "The Wipers are your favorite band, you just don't know it yet." gives you a high five at the finish line! Bye!

It's true, Alessio. I was specifically referring to the sound that can be heard in "Interstellar Overdrive" and "Astronomy Domine." That particular sound owes a lot to the masonite body of Syd's Danelectro, along with his taste, of course...

PeachTree, sorry if I'm interrupting, but are you really convinced of what you're saying? I mean, let me understand: you come here to tell someone that they're not free to have a different opinion from yours about an album? Opinions that, in the end, aren't that different—it's an album you both appreciate, even if with different perceptions. So, if someone perceives different feelings from yours while listening to Bitches Brew (an album that, if I may say, is full of differing sensations), and expresses them as Uxo did, do you think they're just talking nonsense? Well, if that's the case, you don't have a very democratic view of the site, my friend... Bye.

Well done, Luigi, this has always intrigued me and as you say, not many people care about it (even if that’s not an excuse for not talking about it, rather it's an opportunity to explore it further). Anyway, I don’t mind Tiromancino either...
Led Zeppelin How The West Was Won - Disc 1-2-3

I quote Psycho, I preferred the BBC live (then HTWWW came out first) especially the first album where the band's blues roots are more prominent. That doesn't take away from the five for this live. Also, in "The Song Remains The Same," I don't think they were declining, if anything they were at their peak...

Beautiful review, even though it seems to me there was already one... He is not to be discussed or voted on, his genius is beyond any metric. Alessio, the particular sound he had in the first of the Floyd was, in my opinion, due to his Danelectro (made with rather strange materials) that very few actually used at the time, in fact, some even belittled it. Bye.
Wham! Fantastic

Of course it's true: from the '70s, we have the Stones, Beatles, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple (the first ones that come to mind). From the '80s, we have stuff that I honestly wouldn't miss, including these guys...

In my opinion, Slowhand's last great album is "From The Cradle," where you can hear real blues again, but as you say, it is surrounded by so much (too much) mediocrity.
