I must admit that you should go back to school for syntax and, above all, educate yourself about music to avoid embarrassing yourself like this. Linkin Park sucks, regardless of the genre, but in any case, it’s not metal, not even modern metal. It’s a pathetic substitute, just like Avril Lavigne is for punk. Have you ever tried listening to the Systems? The Architects? Or, just for basic knowledge, the Pantera? That is METAL.

I don't see anything wrong with someone listening to good music even at a young age. Sure, I don't expect anyone to listen to Kraftwerk at 14, but for example, at the same age, I much preferred "If You Want Blood... You've Got It" to Avril Lavigne's first album. What's wrong with someone listening to The Doors or Bach in middle school? It's great music and it's worth listening to it. It all depends on the person: a friend of mine has Rihanna on her phone, while another recommends fairly obscure Norwegian folk metal albums.

I respect tastes, but Adriano, you can find the ridiculous fantasy atmospheres (in part) in Blind Guardian (who, after all, like in Nightfall in the Middle-Earth, draw from Tolkien and therefore seem quite "legitimized") and a lot in Rhapsody. To be clear, I also like the epic music of Rhapsody, but reading the lyrics makes me feel a lot of pity. Sonata, even though they are power metal, avoid dragons, knights, huge swords, and dark lords. Fortunately. Take a song like "The Cage," it even has a nice animal rights message!

So just crush it. I too have been quite disappointed by Unia; they threw their spontaneity to the wind to write a pretentious, mysterious, and inconclusive album. The good old tracks that lingered in your head are glaringly missing. There will barely be two decent songs.
