a record that excited me a few months ago, but now upon re-listening leaves me a bit cold and indifferent. I think they are worth keeping an eye on, though; they seem good and definitely have nothing to envy to that crap Viva la Figa by Enoplay. I don’t know the EP.

finally a review that discusses U2 without trashing them based on dislike for Bono, or trying to appear as deep connoisseurs of music in general, when then, foolishly! you've never actually listened to them because what sells a lot makes you suspicious. the album is very nice beyond the sound which might be a bit messy but is definitely interesting and innovative (yes! innovative… it's U2 in a disco, was that not a novelty at the time?), the voice was at very high levels and would soon deteriorate. POP gets a 4, but I round it to a 5 because some intellectual snob, inevitably, has passed through here too :) the pros and cons of fame...
