I quote maledimiele for the part: only a tremendous passion for the book can justify such disdain. Exhaustive? I would say so. Fanta-Horror... got it, but a bit of plot wouldn't have hurt, at least to know what the book is about.

Loves of youth, always enjoyable even today. Good review.

Great review, you're like wine, the older you get, (On DeBaser) the better you become. The proposal is interesting too.

Great album. Nothing more to say, except that the review is also good.

It is inspired by the Lindberg case as Christie envisioned the death of Bruno Hauptmann (Ratchett), the perpetrator of the kidnapping and murder of little Lindberg, quite differently. In reality, he died in the electric chair. The way you've written it makes it seem like it happened in that convoluted manner typical of Christie's novels. Despite all the stars, the film is mediocre like all those based on the works of the British writer.

It's true, "Days of Wine and Roses" is very beautiful. I also saw a Danish one titled "Die Bank" (the title is in German) that tackles the subject in a very raw and truthful way, close to the style of "The Emperor of Rome" by Nico D'Alessandria, which, however, didn't convince me entirely. The quote from supersoul reminded me of a similar line from a film I reviewed. "Breathless" by Godard, when Jean Seberg says: "I don't know if I'm unhappy because I'm not free, or I'm not free because I'm unhappy."

Depp is one of the best actors around. If the role calls for being flamboyant, he can do it, just as he can act within the lines, as in this beautiful film. If you don't agree, we'll talk about it again in twenty years.

The scene that struck me the most is when he desperately searches for the bottle he had hidden. When I saw it as a kid, I thought (in the way kids do) that it was nonsense, but instead it’s dramatically true.
