Garrone is somewhat hesitant in defining a couple of minor characters, and especially indecisive, wavering, in choosing the ending, despite having all the necessary material at his disposal, as he is inspired by a true story. It did not convince me in the same way as "L'imbalsamatore" (for me, his best film), with which it only shares the style.

In the early 70s, Zappa's music meant nothing to me because I couldn't conceive of music beyond CSN&Y, Dylan, CCR, etc. I had long discussions with my Zappa-loving friends (who were not few in Livorno!!) opposing my (not just my) "champion," who at that time was Springsteen. It was a dialogue between the deaf; neither side listened to the other, and we didn't budge from our positions. But, accompanied by a few glasses of wine and some joints, it helped pass the evening. The premises were wrong. You can't have a discussion saying he is better when musicians have a completely different way of understanding music. Zappa, without rules and measure, carried forward a personal musical discourse trying to span 360 degrees, tackling both ironic little songs and jazz. Springsteen, on the other hand, wrote excellent ballads of a classic style. The listener should approach music by first shedding their prejudices; only then are they qualified to form an opinion. Personally, I began to love Zappa's music when I was working on a cable car and had time to listen through headphones to a tape my Zappa-loving friend made for me. Zappa is definitely a great artist; I believe I can say this even if I only know him partially, but to appreciate him one needs an open mind.

I came to take a look, this one for example, I had missed. I have "Two Steps from the Blues" by Bland, I'll take this one too.

I also like the Go Betweens.

Personally, I recommend starting with the first one, and if you like it, continue with the others. After all, there isn't a huge difference in the quality of the compositions, in my opinion, they're all 4-star material. In every Costello album, there are 2-3 beautiful songs, while the rest is of average level. In an interview, he himself said that he released too much stuff in the early years, I believe 10 albums in the first 9 years. As far as I remember, he mentioned that one of them shouldn’t have been released. I can understand if, for example, DJMUSHROOM can't quite love it.

I don't know them, but I always enjoy reading your reviews. They might also be to my liking, we'll see.

Hello, and thank you for stopping by. MARTIN EDEN, the Attractions (Steve Nieve, Pete Thomas, Bruce Thomas) began their collaboration with Costello from this album. I also want to thank the editor who published the review for not adding bold text.

The Capello Milan (formerly Sacchi's) had a defense and midfield like no one had ever seen, and up front Van Basten, Massaro, and Virdis. Championships and Champions Leagues are won with great defenses and great midfields, above all. Look at Barcelona; they won because they didn't let the English see the ball in midfield.

I believe that Italy isn't doing so badly; with a bit of luck in the World Cup, they could do well. Where are these national teams that are so superior? Who? Spain that won the Euros? We had a terrible national team and they beat us on penalties. Italy thrives in the World Cup, and in a couple of years, we will be stronger than we were in the Euros.
