Poletti, don't tell me you liked Dressed to Kill; it's a poorly executed, very poorly executed imitation of a masterpiece by Hitchcock, titled Psycho. The only thing worth seeing in that film is Dickinson's legs and ass.
Russ Meyer Beneath The Valley Of The Ultravixens (1979)

Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill! definitively codifies his style and launches his voluptuous actresses, first and foremost Tura Satana. The film will become a cult movie adored by directors like John Waters, who considers it the greatest film in the history of cinema, and Quentin Tarantino.

What do you think of Carne cruda, Lorna, Motorpsycho! and I sette minuti che contano? They are the only ones I found by Meyer.

Never heard of Russ Meyer, let alone the film. Reading your reviews makes me think that there are quite a few unknown but interesting movies out there.

I looked for pippo il buco and I also found it, but it wasn't on the internet. Joking aside, I read Morandini's review, which speaks very highly of it.

I liked it quite a lot, way better than Dress to Kill, Dressed to Kill, Murder by Numbers, Live Murder...

In my opinion, Venus is better than all the songs by Jefferson Airplane.
Francois Truffaut Jules e Jim

Hi happypippa, I like your name. And I want to greet everyone again, because it makes me happy if someone takes the time to read one of my reviews. I won’t intervene on judgments and tastes because as long as they remain within civil limits, I'm fine with all of them.
Francois Truffaut Jules e Jim

I know Truffaut's works like "My Drug is Julie," "Shoot the Piano Player," "The 400 Blows," "The Woman Next Door," all of them between a 4 and a 5 in my opinion. But "Jules and Jim" is something special for me, perhaps because when I saw it, I was taken aback by such an unusual story, told with so much modesty and restraint. Hello everyone. (for now)

Occulto Supersovrano is right, the best prison movie is Galline in Fuga, and I would add Babe, Pig in the City, even though Babe is a shepherd pig, the sheep are imprisoned, and we must not forget Animal Farm, which is, by the way, a serious film.
