Thank goodness there are also those who talk about authors like Russ Meyer; I didn't know him, but I got curious, I looked him up on the internet, and it seems that this Russ was not stupid at all. Could you please explain to me which invective you are talking about? I copied and pasted: link rotto /ID_17479/Oasis_Whats_The_Stor y_Morning_Glory_3f.htm..... but a message popped up on my PC saying it was impossible to view the page.

Moretti is an arrogant pretentious person; politics has nothing to do with it, it’s his way of making films that doesn’t convince me. You mentioned Palombella Rossa; I’ve seen it and I find it a heavy and boring film, just like Aprile. Then he has also made good things like Bianca or Caro Diario. In Italy, we have many less famous but more talented directors; I’ll just name Gianni Amelio, Mario Martone, or the same Matteo Garrone, whose L'Imbalsamatore I recommended you to see this morning which is showing tonight. Of course, this is just my personal opinion.

Since these are prison movies, you might be thinking, "But does escape... exist?"

nofake, it seems to me that you initially tried to spark a debate between an author whose work you’ve only read a review of and Tinto Brass. Already that doesn’t hold up, and then you wonder why the discussion ends up on the difference between pornography and erotica, calling it one of the most inconclusive, banal, and useless debates. You say that everyone will hold on to their own opinion... which is obvious; I’ve never seen anyone change their mind after a brief exchange of ideas. Personally, I’ve never seen films by Russ Meyer or Brass, because I always find that a film is erotic when I least expect it. For example, La grande abbuffata aroused me from start to finish; the paths of eroticism are infinite and sex has a thousand faces. Have you seen SESSOMATTO? There are people who like older women, others who like those who are overweight, there are even pedophiles, and even coprophiles; they are all aspects of the same coin.

I find it much more arousing to see a woman who is dressed and only reveals her qualities than a porn movie filled with cock and rivers of sperm; the scene at the cinema from "I Vitelloni" is more exciting than any hardcore porn.

I told you, it's a matter of taste, Somebody to Love is one of the few I like (besides those by Jorma Kaukonen). They can say what they want about Jefferson, but of their albums I know, the only one I really like is Surrealistic Pillow. Venus is the only track I know by Shocking Blue, it reminds me of so many things; I could say the same about Stasera mi butto by Rocky Roberts, American Woman by the Guess Who, Jellow River by Christie, and there are plenty of others too.

ArnoldLayne is my opinion, I've never liked the Jeffersons. Venus is a cult classic for those of my generation.

Poletti, I saw on the teletext that tonight at 2 AM on Rai Uno they're showing L'Imbalsamatore by Matteo Garrone, an excellent film.

Poletti, if I have the original, which is a masterpiece, why should I watch the copy? Useless film.
