I like the style; you have a very free writing, and this is something that readers can perceive.

I agree with Poletti 99 percent; for me, the film is a 4-star experience. Good review, even though you've changed the style a bit.

@Zurk! You too!! (I'm not messing with you)

@Zurk! I would also like to see Callisto Tanzi in jail, but what does that have to do with what we are talking about?

@Zurk! I had forgotten about Blob. Le Iene and Striscia do their job well; as Poletti says, these are service programs, their role is not to step on Berlusconi's toes but to bring to light facts that are not reported in the news. Do you see where the difference lies between us? I really like Blob even though its favorite target is Berlusconi. Antonio Ricci is too smart not to know that a balanced show needs to be made; in fact, Striscia doesn't kiss Berlusconi's ass. The same goes for those who have Ricci's role in Le Iene. At the same time, on other Mediaset shows like Mai dire Banzai, with all those that followed, Gialappas was against the boss… don’t tell me it’s not so. Among other things, Santoro has also worked at Mediaset, and we all know how he thinks. Write: people are no longer capable of following films, which is why they are no longer broadcast; today, there’s no need to make an effort to understand a plot, everything must be clear and explained, no more reasoning, nothing to interpret… This seems like an intellectual discourse to me, so it's just hot air. What should they broadcast? Nashville or Short Cuts in prime time so we can think and, in the end, interpret how the mechanisms of the American election campaign have turned into a show, or how the American dream has gone off the rails? That would be fine with me, but maybe you forget that 90 percent of those who watch TV come from long hours of work, and they don't want to exhaust themselves with reasoning; they prefer to have a good laugh with La Corrida or a film by Aldo Giovanni e Giacomo. But you asked me to mention some programs since I claimed that TV has improved since the 70s also because of competition... I mentioned the programs; there’s nothing more I can do. I asked you if you like Moretti out of pure curiosity; you must have an opinion on Moretti as a person, not just as a director. As for his films, it's pointless to discuss because neither of us will change our minds. Read the comments I made carefully, and if you have something to say, write it. Bye.

@M.Poletti, this doesn't change the fact that they copied it from XY ungelöst; that too is a service program that has helped capture many criminals. I believe they structured it a bit differently in Italy to avoid paying royalties.

The fact is that programming is created by people, but in prime time you have to put on nonsense because "the popular masses," to use a "leftist" term, want (wanted) Carrà, La corrida, the San Remo festival, and Miss Italia, to which we must add American nonsense, or "Chi l'ha visto?" copied from a German show called XY ungelöst. From Germany, they imported not only Derrick but many other TV shows; in the land of sauerkraut, there’s a series that has been running for over twenty years called Tatort. I think it’s not bad, indeed, many episodes are good (it depends on who writes them), but this series has never been seen here. So we get stuck with Carabinieri, Commesse, etc. Don’t even touch Colombo because it’s a genius series (I’m talking about the early episodes); it broke all the rules of the TV mystery genre by revealing who the murderer is right away. There are many other things to discuss, but in the first episodes from the seventies, every story had a great twist. Then, over time, Colombo also became nonsense.

Thank you for the explanation.

This film has been visited 727 times with 76 comments. Not to quote myself, but I reviewed Jules et Jim, a film universally recognized as a masterpiece, and only a handful of people have seen it; not that I care too much, but a film like that deserved much more attention.
