@fenni, I’m responding because I want to clarify that if by "personal points of view" you are referring to the last four lines of the review of Ladri di biciclette, that was a rant that came out of my pen, stemming from a moment I’m going through that prevents me from sleeping; I wanted to leave it there because I was very angry. And anyway, it seems to me that I wrote righteous words, even if they were unrelated or only slightly related to the film. Or do you hold a different opinion? Do you perhaps think that the poor are protected?

I own the Germs' album on vinyl; they are one of the 2-3 most important punk bands. Darby Crash is the embodiment of the nihilism that prevailed at that time.

@M.Poletti, know that I also adore Welles and in this film he gives us an extraordinary performance, but in The Lady from Shanghai he is not as striking in his acting role; however, the direction, with the ending you mentioned, the way he directs the actors, the dialogues, the shots (which are his strong suit) is excellent. What do you think of Heston as a Mexican with a mustache? Wouldn't it have been more appropriate to cast someone who even slightly resembles the features of a Mexican?
