GEORGE BEST THE BEST
Voto:
Beautiful. I enjoyed reading it and learning a bit more about Best. It’s not necessary to be against the rules at all costs... It seems right to define good George that way; he was against the rules but with innocence...
Philip Roth Lamento di Portnoy
Voto:
I had already listened to American Pastoral for about two hours, then I put it down because I was getting bored. On YouTube, I had seen: a tribute to Philip Roth with some intellectuals praising him for an hour and a half. I decided to listen to that as well. I fell asleep during the listening, and when I woke up, there was an hour left to finish it, so I held on until the end. Now that’s enough, Roth is not my cup of tea. The review is pleasant, 5 for you and 2 for Roth because I recognize his merit in speaking bluntly about topics that had been taboo until then. That's no small feat.
Scott Cooper Hostiles - Ostili
Voto:
The plot seems interesting; if I get the chance, I will watch it. As usual, I like the way you present your writings. 👍
Little Steven Freedom: No Compromise
Voto:
I don't know the album, but I've always liked Little Steven. He's made at least one good solo album outside of the E Street Band. And I also find him likable. Good review.

I have never played tennis. But I watched every match on TV. You described it well, and I always cheered for him when he beat Borg in a memorable final at Wimbledon (I believe) I jumped out of my seat. He represented attacking tennis, serving and volleying to close the point. I was spinning when he lost to Lendl, and it happened many times. Anyway, my favorite has always been Sampras, whom I consider a great champion as well as a gentleman on the court. Good review.
Joel & Ethan Coen Inside Llewyn Davis
Voto:
I haven't seen it yet. I liked the review and I'll add my three favorites from the Coen brothers... Barton Fink, The Man Who Wasn't There, Fargo... maybe a couple of others too...
