I see a lot of 5s, but I've never liked them.

tobont, I know Morandini personally; in the 90s I was at his house in Milan several times. I believe that, given his age, he now focuses solely on his dictionary and his column on Telesette (assuming it still exists); the one he had in "Il Giorno" (I believe) he hasn't managed for several years now. Even though he is paid by a publisher, I assure you that the only restriction he is possibly constrained by is his political passion, but otherwise, he writes exactly what he genuinely thinks about a film because he is intellectually honest. Moreover, he faced no pressures because he contributed to newspapers that were not politically aligned. I also think that the vast majority of critics operate in the same way, as writing things you don't believe doesn't get you very far. It's like what they say about lies, that they have short legs because one has to remember them, and if the lies pile up, remembering them becomes increasingly difficult. Rather, I believe that some (a few) politically aligned newspapers select their critics based on their conceptual tendencies.

Since I've been visiting the site for almost a year, I can assure you that there are DeBaser users who read the reviews because they want to expand their musical or cinematic horizons. For example, bartleboom, donjunio, iside, azzo, captainhowdy, bjorky... just to mention the first ones that come to mind. (Bjorky, I would be glad to receive a message from you)

Yes, I’m on the site to pass the time in a way that entertains me, even if sometimes I find myself arguing with some who nitpick even the commas in the comments. With you, for example, it's easy to talk, and since you definitely have talent, try to distinguish between those you call "maestrini" and those who critique you without putting themselves on a pedestal.

tobont, I'm not down at all; my review, with all the flaws of someone who doesn't even know punctuation well, satisfies me enough. It was one of the first I wrote about a movie; later I took more time, and they came out even better. You write very well, in my opinion, you should pay attention to the criticisms you've received. Hi.

Poletti, that almost in quotation marks refers to Lolita... guessed?

And who could forget Fats Domino, but while we're at it, let’s add Roy Brown and Ike Turner, shall we? (Without Tina though) If I have to mention a woman, I’ll say Brenda Lee.

Great review, a bit too long for my taste. I also reviewed the film, trying to highlight the key themes of the movie and also telling a bit of the plot. But I admit I don't have your cultural background and writing fluency.
