I don't know this one, but it seems interesting. Good review.

Comparing Totò to Villaggio is sheer madness. I share Poletti's exact opinion on the Neapolitan comedian.

Occult Supersovereign, I respect your opinion. But in my view, in Little Feat, the rhythm section plays a significant role, not so much because it's massive like in other bands, but because it perfectly integrates with the rest of the sound, giving the group a well-defined and enjoyable imprint.

Great, I have all their discography from the first 10-15 years, and a nice collection of what followed. I don't know the album in question, good review.

OleEinar, you bought the live album, that's fine, but my personal opinion is that the studio recordings are preferable. "Waiting for Columbus" is a great record, but the compositions are quite stretched out. For Loggins & Messina, "On Stage" or one of the first two is just fine. Bye.

In the meantime, I downloaded the entire "Repeater" and on the first listen it seems even better than "Red Medicine." Gorgeous.

Even what does supersoul or odradek think of Little Feat. Sorry damn if I changed the subject, but we're still talking about music.

OleEinar, I have a proposal for you: if you contact me privately and send me your address, I’ll send you a personal compilation of rock music. Free of charge, of course. PS I’m sorry they didn’t mention their "donjunio" or "c'è" to quote two of the DeBaserians with whom I feel more in tune regarding music. (I just mentioned the first two names that came to mind; you're included too, damn it) Bye.

OleEinar, I just got back. Download the song "Dixie Chicken" so you can get an idea for yourself. Damn, I saw Ginger Baker twice in concert with a band he formed, beautiful evenings. Occulto Supersovrano, I’ve already mentioned that the rhythm section of Little Feat wasn’t as impressive as that of Primus, but it was the quality of the songs that made the difference. I don’t understand how you can say you doubt they could surpass Primus in technique and inventiveness if you don't know them. I do know them, and I prefer Little Feat by far. Anyway, the comparison doesn’t hold because they make different music... and it’s always a matter of taste.

Little Feat had the best rhythm section I know, maybe it wasn't as imposing as that of Primus, but the quality of the songs made the difference. This is not to say that Primus is inferior.
