There are technical details that, in my opinion, are the most interesting thing about the album, like the guitars that imitate all possible brass sounds in "Good Company" or the vocal experiments with delay in "Prophet Song," or the endless overdubs in "Bohemian"...

The "Samba" version of Gimme Some Lovin present here is fantastic!!! The only sour note of the live performance is the guitar work of Dave Mason, which I really don’t like... Even as a songwriter, I’ve never cared for him (except for his wonderful "Feelin' Alright").
It's also worth looking for and having the "Live in Santa Monica" video, which is a nice gem...

Baker is no longer in Tuscany; I've been told he moved to South Africa after almost beating a guy to death... Very pulp!

Regarding the Family, I would also recommend "Fearless," which is a fantastic album and features the legendary John Wetton in the lineup.

The 'traffic' of '69 is less groundbreaking and overhyped than the debut, but it embodies the true essence of Winwood without the psychedelic atmospheres that I honestly find a bit kitschy and out of style... sure, "Mr. Fantasy" and "no name no face no number" are really great pieces...

....And where do we place the eponymous "Traffic" from '69?....

The problem with the album lies in the production (sounds with a very stilted drum) more than in the truly excellent songs. Of course, "Rocks" is still quite distant, but you can sense it from the general darkening of the atmospheres. "Season of Wither" is still beautiful, though.

A bit haphazard as a record. "Do what you like" is excessive in duration, "Had to Cry Today" similarly, "Presence of the Lord" by the good Clapton has a nice melody, reminiscent of "Theme from an imaginary western" by Jack Bruce in its atmosphere and embodies all the clichés of the 70s power ballad (the first to inaugurate this composition methodology was Harrison with his "while my guitar"). "Find my way home" instead embodies perfection, as sober and immaculate as it is... just for this last track, the album truly deserves a place in history.

I personally didn't like this album at all, I preferred the first one.
