Iron Maiden Somewhere Back In Time: The Best Of 1980-1988

What are the more valid realities than Maiden then? I can't think of any that aren't.. I'll repeat it, if the "maiden" modus operandi becomes (has become) that of an entire genre, it's obvious that everything is then considered according to those standards. Even the critics have bent to this logic, and certainly not because the group's language was incomprehensible to them before and then became assimilable..

And the music so joyful that brings me to have such reactions (oh well) is a fact that in itself clarifies even more my stance on them.

Great, but that’s not what I said. If a certain way of playing becomes the paradigm of a genre, to the point of being labeled "legendary" and "absolute classic," that’s very serious, especially if that way of playing is rhythmically flat... (you don’t have to be a drummer, it seems objective to me). The emotionality of the iron is artificially theatrical, like in those manga where reflections and supposed deep concepts are thrown in the audience's face. In short, space is only removed ideally with the creation of archetypes, both by fans and the band itself, which they play on themselves to the point of nausea. Spare me and spare yourself the B-movie psychology in the future, please.

I hadn't thought about it at the moment, but yes, it fits perfectly with the elp.. @ il trucido: I didn't like the previous one at all, simultaneously wordy and chaotic. This one seems a bit more focused.

no one has ever talked about overexposure, but about overconsideration or more simply overrated. My feelings have recently transformed into an almost hatred towards them, because theirs is the ultimate banalization of rock; their riffs and rhythms are flat, there are no emotions conveyed, or at least only "transported," it's impossible to find grooves or catchy melodies in any of their songs. They are fake. It's annoying when characteristics of the genre belong to a band that has become "cult" or "classic," because it greatly harms other bands and the way they are perceived by a perhaps inept audience that will be unable to appreciate, for example, eclecticism. This way, absolute banality is promoted as a paradigm and stereotype.

really beautiful review, I come from a journey through the discography of Low, so this wouldn't lift my spirits, I think. anyway, I’ll make a note of it.

In fact, I wouldn't even include the elp in prog, even referring back to the canonical definition of the genre..

So, Rivoli, you have to review this crap, so you can comment on it.
