I think they are a rather bland and, on the whole, insignificant group. Good review, though.

Well, captain, apart from past disagreements, your reviews are always enjoyable, even if the subject matter seems almost "provocative" in its monothematicity. It's also time for Maiden fans to come to terms with the existence of all these terrible detractors, whose mouths spew infamies and unjustified harsh words about their idols. But I’ll tell you, who cares. Peace and see you next time :)

great review, I've never liked the Beach Boys, not even the highly acclaimed "Pet Sounds"..

truly beautiful page, Lewis. I'm listening to the album now, but my stuffy living room doesn’t seem suited for it; I’ll try again at the beach, maybe in the coolness of the evening. how lovely albums are that way.
The Rolling Stones Exile on Main Street

among the favorites. aside from various considerations about Zappa, which are anyway shareable from the reviewer’s perspective. that “more” of the Stones, that spontaneous and raw blues writing, is all found here, where the pieces and the composers are one and the same. (fantastic expression) the worst moments of the Stones are precisely those when they resort to compositional tricks, refined productions, and attempts at imitation. for me, they can be comfortably considered the best rock band of all time.

I've been wanting to listen to this album for a while, and the review only heightens my curiosity.
