Marillion Happiness is the Road
Voto:
Very long review but good, I've never listened to anything by Marillion because I've always been advised against them. Should I start from this?

"Let's not start transcending. Pop doesn't mean a damn thing... in music, pop is the desire to be listened to by everyone a bit, which is good because we can't take any more of tortoise and similar crap. Saying that these derive from the Sex Pistols is like saying that man descends from monkeys." I do NOT believe at all that man descends from monkeys.

beautiful. anyway, even von till is very sparse in the arrangements. and he also has a similar voice, so in terms of solo work I don't see them as that distant.

To the count, I recommend visiting the "hot reviews" section of Deb, where he can satisfy his thirst for visibility.

As I see it, the record in question is an oasis of flatness. The production, rather than being deliberately pop (due to the mixing and the volumes of the vocals), seems poorly executed, let's say haphazard and "school-like," nothing compared to the meticulously crafted sounds of the subsequent works. The least pop track, I believe, is "germi," even though it's really too indebted to foreign music (and out of time, come on) and despite "hai paura.." being inspired, I think it can only be considered a great album in relation to what has been seen here in the rock field. Here where there is praise for the Baustelle...

At first, I really hated the album too. And certain sounds (these) I usually detest. But the album has good compositions, and despite the sticky-sweet pop aesthetic, I’d say there’s substance, along with a desire to distance itself from the old sounds, which seems to be the main characteristic of the record.

Great review. I've heard that the big black influenced the first Slint, can someone recommend something to me?
