beautiful review. but honestly, I wouldn't know how to make a distinction in Stockhausen's music, let alone formulate a judgment.. :D

I posted without reading the comments above.. Given that the general atmosphere is this, I would humbly suggest that those who agree with you/me refrain from commenting on that type of review. However, it's definitely not democratic at all. I believe that Debaser, for many reasons, is the "ultimate" source of information on rock and related topics, including your expertise (or rather, experience) and the astronomical number of users. The caricatured aspect was a bit of the cherry on top of a highly enjoyable and free website, which now, however, has taken almost all the cake. Regarding Metallica and "popular" bands: it must be said that the more competent reviewers are too eager to leave them to the masses of new members/fakes/kids (except for Azzo, who reviewed the After), effectively dividing the site in two. On the latest Metallica album, not a single decent review has come out. AC/DC is liked by Blackdog, probably also by Azzo. Maybe it's nonsense, but take back the site :)

All in all, the album is neither that beautiful nor that bad. There are some nice things, but also others that I would define as obscene. "Tutto domani" is pretty banal, (it resembles "pop", the only song by Germi that I dislike) "Orchi e streghe.." is ulcer-inducing; insignificant are "È dura essere silvan" and "Dove si va da qui". Basically, I would keep half of the album, which does include gems like "È solo febbre", (which is a great single) the chaos of "Pochi istanti nella lavatrice" and the tarantella. It depends on what they choose to do next, but as of now we have a reinvigorated band that has come out with a decent album, albeit full of ideas.

Unfortunately, with Kadu my mule no longer has the nose it used to... I only found this and The Tipping Point, and I've seen a few around but I wouldn't know which one to start with! Usually, I download and then buy. But if I don't download... :) Do you have it? (organix)

I know it's much less "roots" and jazz-influenced than the previous ones, but it's more "front-facing" and darker. It had a great surprise effect on me :)(but I’ve been around for a long time) little by little I'll get the others too, and maybe (eventually) I can reassess the judgment. Perhaps give it a listen. You’re welcome ;)

I'm not crazy about incunabula either (great album, mind you), I prefer "tri repetae," but perhaps even more "chiastic slide," and their sound even when it's less "polished."
