Do tools bring bad luck? Don't say these things, as they unconsciously affect me quite a bit.. for my part, I've always gotten fines, sudden downpours (on clear days), and more, in the company of neuroses, which I carefully avoid feeling before events that I reasonably consider "important".. (in fact, I've ended up not feeling them almost at all) Regarding tools, I too prefer the first two; in particular, I simply find the opening trilogy of Undertow to be deadly, which has few equals, in my humble opinion, in all '90s "mainstream" rock. Great review and great video :)

echoes, then also feel the beginning of the pot by tool.

I don't know, to me this seems like the only track that justifies the release of the new album. It has a nice atmosphere, though it's definitely not a masterpiece. The rest seems to neither take away nor add anything to the band's discography, the noise parts keep the ear perked up only at times, and the melodies are far from memorable. (In the chorus of "what we know," I hear Queens of the Stone Age..)

I've been feeling it for a while now, but I still wouldn't know what rating to give. Overall, it seems even less personal than “rather ripped”; here they’re really on autopilot. But don’t get me started on the last one, truly surprising, “massage the history”: nine dreamy minutes with a “new” Kim Gordon.

"I think that when you make a living as a musician, people have to love you. That's what matters." But what nonsense. The fact that the masses love you is not necessarily related to the quality of your work, and even less should this be the ultimate goal of creating, I remind you, Art. Ah, how nauseating to see the news segment about his new live DVD, given that he is one of the most irrelevant artists of this century.

perfect review, strangely this was missing from the database.. anyway, in my opinion, even Chiasmic Slide is really nice, I'm missing Draft 7.30. but but, listening electronics.. this (and also Incunabula) a bit because of the timings, a bit because of the rhythms and structures of the tracks, I've always seen them as very "passive" albums, ambient music for spaceships or cybernetic lounges.

I may be ignorant, but I don't care much, trout mask and blues have nothing to do with each other. Anyway, it reminded me of an "unlistenable" album. Delirium Cordia by Patton's Fantômas.

In my opinion, the first two albums by Einstürzende Neubauten are way more challenging than Trout Mask Replica. The first one, in particular, I find unbearable on certain days, while the second is among my favorite albums. "Confusion Is Sex" by Sonic Youth is beautifully compact and noisy. I place Zappa's "Uncle's Meat" at the same level of difficulty as "Trout Mask," and I like it much less. If I think of anyone in particular, I'll let you know. Oh, the latest Coldplay is unlistenable.
