I wanted to do it myself, but in the end, I don't think it's worth it. The album is really quite ugly, frivolous and dancey, fine just for summer salsa remixes. But in general, they have never been anything transcendent...

I don't like it for how it makes you breathe sadness, for the scent of pubescent sweat, socks. Mascis has a loser vibe, it makes me feel almost uncomfortable. This sensation is further heightened by the interview in the maxi documentary *The Year Punk Broke* with the Sonic Youth and Nirvana... I sense a damp resignation that, given how I am right now, I just can't stomach.

I don't know, I picked up the relatively celebrated *You're Living All Over Me*, and I really didn't like it. I find it sung very poorly, and I'm certainly not a fan of bel canto... I don't know. Strange because I had heard something from their first LP and thought it would be my thing. Can anyone recommend something else by them?
