Setting aside the subtleties regarding "the piper," of which I was not aware, I would say that in general your argument is largely agreeable. However, adt, multitracking, and various quirks refer to revolutions in recording techniques, divorced from the mere musical content and its innovation. Perhaps those innovations were more the merit of the producers than of the Beatles. I could be wrong, though. Best regards to you as well.
