Seen yesterday in Milan, a really great evening. The album is a 6.5/7 out of 10 for me, but only because of those two or three tracks that really annoy me. I would also like to say that the whole story about the lack of content is nonsense; music is largely pure aesthetics, and content is often communicatively linked to form. The band is in great shape and the next album (in my opinion) will confirm that. If you can't stand them and still want to trash it, be my guest...

Not to be too much of a pain, but this stylistic "refinement" in writing reviews seems to me like a red herring to mask a certain descriptive poverty. I still miss them and I think I'll take care of that soon. @adder: magnificent neurotic, great!

Bill Hicks has nothing to do with it; this comedian is honored at the beginning of "Third Eye" (I recommend watching his videos on YouTube) and in the booklet. "Message to Harry Manback" refers to a certain Harry Manback, who apparently moved in with one of the Tool members, scrounging food and shelter. (And they really went hard on him XD)
@lux: Shall we downsize Tool as well? Too cold or too metal? :S
