A great scopophilic film (better than several three sevens): the maximum metacinema of De Palma. Good testicle, but my dear jackskeleton "The Two Sisters", "Blow Out", "The Untouchables" and "Carlito's Way" seem to you films with "flaws" & "banalities" of scripts not exactly "metallic"? And then a comedy of acid social satire like "The Bonfire of the Vanities", adapted from Wolfe, was a huge flop, yes; never mediocre step-false! (same goes for the toy-virtuosic "Mission Impossible", which instead remains the greatest De Palma success..). Sorry, but Brian is one of my 5-6 tastiest directors, and when talking about him I'm uncompromising (I pull out the gun I have between my legs, ready to shoot). Saludos from the Post-Punk Vampire that Jake Scully plays in the B-movie, it's a pop homage to Billy Idol.
P.S. - For those curious about the superb cinematographer Brian De Palma, I refer them to my testicle on the masterwork "Blow Out" (at the time, alas, it had few Visitors!). Ari-saludos pierced and masked by a maniac-Indian.

This is a really nice return, few fucks. But I already notice an unhealthy desire to mess around like crazy with Can (and I know what I’m talking about, okay?). Aside from a few more melodic interludes like the single, the jazzy/psychedelic touch of "Columbo," "Noise Epic," and "Numbness" are undeniably striking. Good enclosure, with some Brit-poppers grazing a bit too much outside in the valley.
