VitelloBarzotto (your nickname drives me crazy!), have you really listened to the riff of 'Rest my chemistry'? Well, if you're not deaf, you'll find the Pixies there. If it were just them, it wouldn't be a problem, but Echo And The Bunnymen and Iùtù also crashed this pointless and useless little record.

It certainly doesn’t have the depth of the past; the more dreamlike and psychedelic side is almost entirely absent, but it’s not the 'putrid mierda' that many would like to make it out to be. It’s listenable, relatively 'short', compact, and direct, without the meanderings of the '90s (but also lacking the mystical goth of 'Machina'). Of course, if the next one sounds the same, I’ll get pissed off; however, let’s be honest, in the recent Ondarock they missed Zwan!! But then they’re being disingenuous, burns... I repeat: I’m not too convinced by the production (strange that the more energetic tracks are produced by only BC and JC, while the softer ones are by Terry Date -formerly hard- and Thomas Baker. Quite a strange choice of producers, eh?) - If Billy had picked up the phone to call Alan Moulder or Flood, the result behind the mixer would have been better. Just listen to some tracks like 'Bleeding the Orchid' or 'Starz' live; they have a much more 'authoritative' sound. And 'United States' kicks ass, damn, that’s enough for me for the 3 stars.

Zaireeka went a bit overboard, but just a 'tiny bit,' huh? :)

Look, now I can also tell you: if you were a chestnut from '72, I would go crazy; they are my favorites (along with the blondes from '78 and the brunettes from '74)! Beware, sweet Arianna, a ruthless courtship is about to begin!! :D Get ready for verses of lascivious love and warm romance 'scented' like 35 spring red roses... Which I present to you, gentle maiden (and I like that your favorite is 'TOTBL'). ;)

Well done, Poletti, I agree. Do you see that you and I could never 'duel' like the two French officers D'Hubert and Feraud?

Eh, this is really an amazing record!! We'll talk about it again in 12 months
( but 6 will be enough too ) and then we'll laugh like crazy..

Here, you've nailed the phrase of the day: 'massa de pecoroni'. It's so cool to rate a 6.5 or 7, like those d*ckheads from Ondarock, all the hot air from Interpol or Editors (not those Debaserian ones, I respect) that the 4-star ratings I have - which I possess - for SP or QOTSA seem obvious already 6 months in advance, right? Better a fart from Corgan of the pale and empty new wave recycle, by now a tedious little game. And it’s not a question of 'being more intelligent', I’m more 'enlightened' because I always pay my electricity bill; maybe you don’t...

A brilliant and 'desperate' noir masterpiece. 5 stars for sure (even though I usually don't vote for 'oculistics'), as deserves the entire filmography of the Master.
