Anyway, this movie is gay.

Visually it will have a minimum of charm, but Miller is the big fascist that we all know and the brave Zack, the popcorn director who sped up the zombies. Just for this reason, I would throw him to 250 angry Iranians with Ahmadinejad's furious black face leading them. And without Leonidas to cover his butt! :D

Great director, great film, amazing actors. But lately Mann has put the brakes on a bit (I rewatched 'Collateral', and the digital photography and the Scientologist Cruise being bad like Terminator is little compared to 'Heat' or 'Manhunter'..).

Masterpiece. One of my 15 favorite movies (and three are by Coppola…). Great review, Bartle, you’ve reviewed an immense work: between Watergate (even predicted), Bergman, and 'Blow Up'. Cinematically speaking, you and I have so much in common; musically, a bit less… You’re such a badass metalhead! :D P.S. - It’s true, Coppola is the greatest filmmaker/author of the Seventies.

Great review, Bartle, for an amazing cult classic: a dark fairy tale, featuring a towering Mitchum. The great Sempronio Gracco in 'Spartacus' Laughton (in his debut, a unique and striking film!!) creates an ancestral fable with a 'visual' power and a wicked, violently dark taste. Few have been able to tell in Cinema the light of childhood and its vulnerability, from ancient and modern "bad wolves," like he does.
